Description

Sotera is looking for top talent to join our team supporting the critical Application Operational and Sustainment (O&S) support program for an Intelligence Community Customer that is on the front line of National Defense.

 

Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

 

The Test Engineer- Full Performance would be responsible for:

  • Participate in all phases of software development to keep abreast of system requirements and specifications and development of corresponding test plans, procedures and scripts and test tools selection
  • Estimates for software-testing costs and schedule
  • Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
  • Update automated test scripts to ensure currency
  • Performs highly complex testing and analyzes network systems development including integration, systems testing, interoperability testing, field test plans and customer acceptance plans to maintain the credibility/viability of the system
  • Investigates and resolves highly complex operational matters of significance in conjunction with other engineering and technical support to ensure cost effective and efficient resolution of problems
  • Provides technical expertise and guidance in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of test processes and diagnostic programs for system testing
  • Consults with clients on highly complex systems; determines systems requirements; recommends processes and/or programs, coordinates project team and follows through on implementation
  • Provides complex technical expertise to engineering management in the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3 plus years of hands on manual testing experience Experience with Jenkins, Selenium, Findbugs, Junit
  • Experience working with computer systems and their uses
  • Experience working with scripting languages such as TCL, PERL, HP
  • Experience working with data transmission protocols such as TCP/IP
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong time management, priority allocation and task management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Strong presentation skills to present test results to individuals and groups
  • Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent

Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
